Reputable engineering consultancy and technical advisory with experience in wind power projects, forming part of Engie. Previously performed a grid study for EDD on the Djiboutian grid and therefore have an intimate knowledge of the grid connection requirements for the Project.

Tractebel provided pre-financial close owner’s engineer support for the Project development team, including energy yield assessment, EPC contract tender review and negotiation support, grid studies, and general technical input.

Deloitte is the tax and structure advisor for the Red Sea Power project providing independent advice with regards to transaction structure and tax compliance in line with CIO requirements.

Also as the financial model auditor, they provide audit of the financial model with regards to functionality, inputs and assumptions.

INDECS is a leading insurance consultant the full spectrum of risk management consultancy to energy and non-energy related companies.

INDECS is advising on the complete suite of insurance policies to be taken out for the Project.

The Red Sea Power Project involves the construction of a c.60MW Wind Farm in Ghoubet, Djibouti, 120km from the city. The Project also involves construction and operation of interconnection facilities comprising of a 220 MVA substation and 5km overhead transmission line to connect to the nearest Electricité De Djibouti (“EDD”) substation.
